REGISTRATION OF POTENTIAL SUPPLIERS OF AGRICULTURAL LAND MECHANIZATION SERVICES<\/span><\/b><\/p>

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

1.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span><\/span>The Small Farmers Welfare Fund (SFWF), working under the aegis of the Ministry of Agro Industry and Food Security, is <\/span>setting up the Subsidy on Agricultural Mechanisation Scheme (SAM)<\/b> to provide subsidies to small registered foodcrop planters to conduct mechanisation works on their fields.<\/span><\/p>

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>The works involves the use of crawler\/ wheel tractors and other type of machinery for:<\/span><\/p>

\u00a0 Rock removal and carting away (Tire roche)<\/p><\/td><\/tr>

3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Under the SAMS, subsidy to the tune of Rs 3,000\/arpent <\/b>will be provided to small registered foodcrop planters for any one or multiple operations w.r.t agricultural land mechanization services as listed at (2) above.<\/p>

4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>The SFWF is therefore inviting local potential suppliers of agricultural land mechanization services to register themselves with the Fund <\/span>to provide the different operations as listed at (2) above to small foodcrop planters around Mauritius.<\/p>

5. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>The supplier must execute the works at the satisfaction of the concerned planters. <\/span><\/p>

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

6. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>The SFWF would not bear any liability in terms of dispute between the planter, supplier and any third party in terms of payment and property damage.<\/span><\/p>

7.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Applications with relevant documents, in a sealed envelope marked \u201cRegistration of Potential Suppliers of Agricultural Land Mechanization Services<\/b><\/i>\u201d addressed to the \u2018Manager \u2013 Small Farmers Welfare Fund\u2019 should be submitted to the <\/span>Small Farmers Welfare Fund, 2nd<\/sup> Floor MCIA (ex-FSC) Bldg, Royal Road, St Pierre<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>

8. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>Applicants should submit, <\/span><\/p>

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

a)\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/span>B<\/span>usiness Registration Number,<\/span><\/p>

b) \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>V<\/span>AT registration Certificate (where applicable),<\/span><\/p>

c)\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span><\/span>H<\/span>orsepower for each tractor owned by the applicant,<\/span><\/p>

d) \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>F<\/span>ull contact details, including telephone and fax numbers,e-mail address whichever is available.<\/span><\/p>

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

9.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/span>Potential Suppliers who do not possess the documents at Section 8 above may do needful to avail for the same and register themselves at a later stage with the SFWF, after obtaining the necessary documents.<\/span><\/p>

10.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/span>The price of items should not be submitted at this stage.<\/span><\/p>

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

11.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span>The Fund has no contractual obligation(s) towards the applicant(s) and this exercise shall not entitled the applicant(s) to become the exclusive supplier(s) of the Fund.<\/span><\/p>
